These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) apply to your use of the website https://yourmovingpro.com (the “Site”) and the moving, packing, and relocation services (the “Services”) offered by Moving Pro Movers (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the Site or using any of our Services, you confirm that you accept this Agreement and agree to comply with its terms.
1. Using Our Website
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use our Site or Services.
When requesting quotes, scheduling moves, or submitting any information through https://yourmovingpro.com, you agree to provide truthful, current, and complete details. If you create any account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your name or contact information.
We reserve the right to decline service, suspend access, or cancel any booking at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms or misused our Site or Services.
2. Quotes, Estimates, and Reservations
All quotes and estimates provided by Moving Pro Movers are prepared based on the information you share with us — including the size of your move, access conditions at both properties, travel distance, and any special requests.
Estimates are not final binding offers. If the actual conditions of your move differ from what you originally told us (such as more items, longer carry distances, or unexpected stairs), the final price may be adjusted accordingly.
Reservations may require a deposit or credit card authorization. Specific payment terms, cancellation deadlines, and applicable fees will be clearly stated in your booking confirmation. You are responsible for reviewing your estimate and confirmation carefully and notifying us immediately of any mistakes or changes.
3. What We Expect From You
You agree to:
- Make sure your belongings are properly packed and ready to load, unless you have specifically booked packing assistance from us.
- Provide clear, safe, and unobstructed access to both the pickup and delivery locations — including parking, elevators, stairs, doorways, and any required building permits or elevator reservations.
- Tell us in advance about any fragile, valuable, oversized, or unusual items that may require extra care or special equipment.
- Follow all applicable laws, building rules, and community regulations that affect your move.
- Confirm that you either own the goods being moved or have full legal authorization from the owner to arrange their transportation.
4. Items We Cannot Transport
We reserve the right to refuse moving any of the following items:
- Hazardous, flammable, explosive, or corrosive materials
- Illegal substances or any items prohibited by federal, state, or local law
- Perishable food, live plants, or animals (unless we have given prior written approval)
If you include prohibited items without telling us in advance, you will be fully responsible for any resulting damages, fines, cleanup costs, or legal penalties.
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms are outlined in your estimate and booking confirmation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a deposit is typically required to reserve your moving date, with the remaining balance due on or before completion of the services.
We may add charges for any services or conditions not included in your original estimate — such as extra labor time, additional stops, waiting time, long carries, stairs beyond the first flight, or a larger inventory than originally described.
If payment is not made when due, we may charge late fees and, where permitted by law, hold your goods until the full amount is paid.
6. Cancellations and Date Changes
Cancellations and rescheduling requests are subject to the notice periods and fees listed in your estimate, confirmation, or our standard cancellation policy.
Last-minute cancellations or changes may result in forfeiture of your deposit or additional charges to cover the costs we have already incurred (such as crew scheduling and truck reservations).
We may need to cancel or reschedule your move due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including severe weather, unsafe working conditions, or unexpected mechanical breakdowns. In these cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and work together to find a new date that works for you.
7. Our Responsibility for Loss or Damage
Our liability for loss of or damage to your belongings is limited as permitted by applicable law and any specific terms stated in your estimate or bill of lading.
You must inspect your goods at the time of delivery and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork before signing. For damage you discover after the crew has left, you must notify us in writing within the timeframe specified in your moving documents.
Our liability may be further limited based on the valuation option you select (for example, basic released value versus full-value protection). Additional coverage options are available for an extra fee. We are not responsible for damage caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, severe weather, or pre-existing defects in your items.
8. Limit on Our Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including loss of income, lost data, or lost business opportunities.
- Our total liability under this Agreement or for any Service shall not exceed the total amount you actually paid to Moving Pro Movers for the specific move or service that gave rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
